Best Server Hosts?

Looking to throw up a server, who is the best host out there currently? anyone?

Definitely not a complete list. But might give you some idea of what's around. Not sure of the best though.

Uhostpro do decent servers and have good online support too.

Really happy with Nitrado (European Server). Village Gaming.

Hasnt been down except to patch and I have had no lag at all. The support has been great and they actively worked with me to get around issues caused by bugs in the game itself. Its not just the server, it is the support when needed that makes it a good choice in my experience.

I have been using www.BlackBoxservers.net since release and i have to say i am very happy with them so far, excellent support, decent performance. I also have one of the top Ark Servers with them since 2 years now.

I'm interested in renting my own server, but I'm worried about the current data corruption issue that has killed off several of the official servers.

What's the support process if something like that happened on a Nirous server ? After all the host is not responsible for Funcom's bad code. Would a full wipe and fresh setup be the only solution ?

If a host is set up the way my company is then all you would have to do is use the db checker we have implimented in the game panel to determine which is the lastest good backup (not corrupted) you have and roll back to it. This way you might loose some playtime - our tests have found it to be about 15 minutes if the save before the corruption is good. You don't lose everything and have to wipe unless you wish to.

I was with Nitrous Networks until I lost interest in the game. Best server host so far and well worth the money.

I will definitely rent from them again once the game adds some much needed content.

Do you guys offer smaller server packages? My friend is looking to get one for a few people to play on but we don't need 20+ connections which seems to be the minimum

Sadly 20 slots is the smallest we offer, we cannot really go much lower than this due to the system resources that are used by Conan :( If you pop in a ticket we may be able to offer you a discount on the price.
