If it's so easy, I'm sure once the modkit comes out, you can make one yourself?
Do it for me
Done. It's coming in the mail via FedEx.
So like I said. Same time as Half-Life 3 release.
/thread
Now on the subject of sheaths. Its certainly a bit strange to be able to re-equip the last weapon you used with the press of a button, but not actually see the weapon you just re-sheathed after you decide to put it away. I can forgive the fact that a character with 50 endurance is carrying an entire building in their inventory (Yes I know its strange and makes little sense), but its that one little thing that you expect when you're sheathing and unsheathing a weapon you just used. It doesn't even have to be all too extravagant. The least I would expect out of two-handed weapons like spears and greataxes/greatswords is to see these weapons holstered into a strap on the back rather than watch them drop into hammerspace like a Borderlands Vault hunter's storage gadget.
For now I just imagine that the amulet has some property that allows you some benefits despite the fact that its a curse. Like.. Storing things in hammerspace. So I just imagine its an ancient Pipboy of some sort.
Unless you didn't notice, someone bumped this thread already and quickly deleted their post. It was a relevant one, but its gone now. Mind your language, however. This forum is still being monitored.
Pretty sure only Steitsch can see deleted recent posts in this thread.
Oh, sorry. Not an exploit. An advanced "feint" technique, of course.
Witcher comes to mind but his entire outfits are designed around it already and you only see his 2 swords, he has other weapons as well you never see physically on him.
Another would be Mass Effect but that only works because its the future and the guns are like...idk magnetically attached to the suit. Also the armor is made for that already similar to Geralt's stuff.
None of the stuff in Conan is. They'd have to redesign all the armor and have a sheath/straps for every weapon and type. Otherwise it just does not look great. It's such a huge thing with all the different types of weapons and their various shapes. Also I read already they have no plans to add this. Truth? Not sure

1 - We never asked that ALL items int he inventory to be visible. No RPG games in existence has ever done it that way. Just show the weapon currently equipped / last used. And some few selected items, such as water pouch, torch, and a hunting knife. Everything else can just come out of thin air, no problem.
2 - Floating around the body is fine. Just have a little physics so it bobs when you run around.
For people who find visible equipments appealing, we are not purist looking for extreme realism. We just want ours character look awesome running around with a weapon strapped to him/ her.
Sensible and to the point. I agree. From what I can tell from the dev kit and what another modder was intending to do it seems that sheathes, straps and weapon specific holsters are very doable and can be applied to specific reference id's. What this means is that one could apply such a holster or strap or even sheath to only particularly styled weapons and then have such a weapon set in its container after sheathing or stowing away so that it remains visible in that state afterwards.
And as you stated its not as complicated as some have put it. I'm already seeing signs of this being implemented by mod authors on the shop, but this is truly something that could have been added as an afterthought. Lets hope Funcom continues to add bits of detail later on.
I saw another thread here taking note of a lack of animations for drinking water/eating and such as well. It was of course put down despite its value to immersion, but of course we had an 'immersive animations' mod and as far as I could tell you could cut the animation short for any other necessary action without complication. These are things that can be added to polish the game further, its just people seem to overcomplicate things as they concern themselves with whether or not this will conflict with their PvP and such.
