Zamorian Blacksmith Thrall?

Tonight we grabbed a Zamorian Blacksmith and made him a thrall, he's a level 1. We added him to the Blacksmith's bench and there is no visible benefit or item gained by having him. What is the point of this thrall?

He greatly speeds crafting of advanced items in Blacksmith Bench, like Iron Reinforcements (They craft for hours)

But Hyrkanian Blacksmith thrall for example, I can already see the recipe of Hyrkanian's bow without needing him. And another werid thing is that, Bow can only be crafted in carpenter's bench, tho I can only place the thrall in the blacksmith bench.

Mine is rank 2 and he reduces the material cost of items.

Ethnicity of Thrall has no impact. It is blacksmith thrall and therefore can be used only in blacksmithing station. Thralls also dont give additional crafting options, they just speed up crafting in that station

Lvl 3 blacksmith apparently gives recipe for Exceptional Longsword
