How do you remove corruption?

I went into one of the caves with Haluman and it gave me corruption over time. This took a quarter of my health and stamina.
Is it just something that goes away with time?
I ask because I was in game for about ten minutes and noticed no difference

I believe it is understood having thralls who are dancers slowly remove corruption.

I have not experienced this or confirmed it myself but this seemed to be the understanding from folks mentioning it around the interwebs.

It also seems to go away eventually. I had it for a long time and i've never seen a dancing girl, in game. I lost it eventually.

I don't know I think that would give my character MORE corruption :).

u can place dancers by putting them in the hotbar, pressing the number and leftclicking .. they are somewhat prone to just disappear though, especially when placed inside of buildings from what I ve seen
