Game Wont Start

Just bought it today, downloaded it. When I hit 'start game' it starts 'running' then just stops. I opened up my task manager, watched it start in processes and just shut down. Searched the forum didn't see any thread with suggestions.

Try choosing the option to run without BattleEye. Worked for me earlier.

I ran the game last night WITH BattleEye and it worked fine. They disabled BattleEye so without should work too. But if it just plain won't start, sounds like either a corrupt install or your computer is wonky. Try validating game files through Steam.

It has something to do with Visual c++ 2015 error I'm seeing now. I'm trying some weird youtube fixes now.

I have that problem aswell but it wont let me download the c++

Go to C:/Program files (X86)/Steam/steamApps/common/Conan Exile/ConanSandbox/Binaries/Win64 and start as admin ConanSanbox.exe. It will show You which files are corrupted or bad. (You need to find files one by one) Find files on internet and download them, then replace them with ones in Windows/system32. Do it one by one (replace one then start ConanSanbox.exe again to see if there is another one.

I was forced to replace X3DAudio1-7.dll and APOFX1-5.dll .

Now game runs like a charm.

I have that problem aswell but it wont let me download the c++

make sure windows hasn;t added it to its exceptions in defender

How do you start it as admin conansandbox.exe

Okay, so it said I was missing:
api-ms- win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll

How am I supposed to replace this?

I did what BlackHand described and it apeared erros0xc000007b for me.
I just googled this error and find a pack of files to put in System32 and SysWOW64 (if win64). I pasted the files and now the game works fine.
