Saving mine atm since they suddenly might find a use for it, I would almost be annoyed if I tossed out 300+ of them i they suddenly came in handy ;)

Yah, that is what I"m doing too.
One never knows. I understand putrid meat is a delicacy in some regions of the world so
it could happen in the game too, perhaps.

As a hoarder I agree. Hell in Ark spoiled meat was more useful than normal meat. Wouldn't be surprised if they eventually have a use for it.

And your Necro forgot to mention that Putrid Meat can be used as fodder in a Compost Box, which is handy when you want to use Planters to grow specific plants. E.g. trek north for some Leavening Agent and then make infinite units from it for brewing or baking as needed.

Also forgot to include that its a poor source of ichor from a fluid press (requiring 50 putrid meat per 1 ichor), and is used in several lures from an altar of Jhebbal Sag.

Putrid meat used to be an ingredient for the composter boxes. Haven't gone that route for awhile so I don't know if that's changed.

No excuse not to read such a short thread. That was already mentioned several hours ago. As was its other uses. And the only reason that specific use wasn't mentioned earlier was because it didn't exist at the time this thread was made.

To be fair, it's easier to use Dung from Animal Pens or Stables in the Compost box. That doesn't have an expiration timer, and you can use herbivores in the Pen or from multiple Stables to get dozens of Dung crafted each cycle.
