Is there any way to pick a different relegion? I accident picked the one without a god or alter cause i didnt realize it was that important to the game, can i still get one or and I just screwd cause I quickly made my character? Ive got to lvl 22 so restarting isnt a option at this point....

I see ingame you can pick an upgrade to build one of altars, I dont know how that works.

Religion isn't that important at this point in the game, it is more of just 'hey I'm about Justice, or Snake gods, or Lovercraftian horrors'. They don't even have the magic system or any of the religious aspects of the game in yet other than the titans. By the time it matters you'll probably have wiped, or have to wipe due to save game incompatibilitiies anyways.

I mean you can make the altars but other than summoning the avatar they don't really do much other than that.

Doesnt one give you the food required to train thralls though? thats the only reason i really care

No. Anyone can make the food. It's just a campfire, plant fiber, and seeds.

There is a priest here that will unlock Sepulcher of Set for free if you talk to him.

religion determines the gods you can summon to destroy your enemies, it is very important! =D

nothing beats a giant snake sneaking into a fort making a hole for an army to move into or to divert an army away from your intended attack. but thats just me :) can not wait till they add the magic system to game

If you want to make a Shrine to Mitra, Set, or Yog, there are three trainers on the map who will teach you these religions for free. You can even build all three altars if you want, and enjoy the benefits of all three gods! The Yog trainer is easiest to find, on the north shore of the big river valley, near the west-most imp cave. The Mitra trainer overlooks the Black Hand stone pirate ship; she is surrounded by spiders so bring a shield or bow. The Set trainer is hardest to find, down around and up through canyons in the north west quadrant of the map, and the spiders are bigger and will walk right in on your conversation.

if i rember right unless you use yellow potions tho its hard to t3 all 3 alters

That is if, the three trainers are spawning on your chosen server still.. (not checked to see if new npc rules on map have them all popping back in or not.)

true or if avatars are turned on they turned off on my server till the shields are out
