Offerings to Mitra

So, built a shrine, made the Ankh thing, smack a corpse and poof, I get the soul bits. However, I can't understand what the 4th recipe does, the Offering. Anyone know?

Seems like it just gives an essence to Mitra. All you get in return is a Manifestation of Zeal, which is produced when you craft anything on the altar.

You need the Manifestations of Zeal to upgrade the altar to T2/T3. But since you get them for the same cost from making ambrosia, not much reason currently to ever craft the Offerings.

Well, the Manifestations are a chance on craft for the Ambrosias, not a guarantee, so if you really need the Manifestations, then you want to focus on Offerings. Also, I think it summons the deity too, not 100% because it's disabled on the server.
