a good foundation?

first off. i love, absolutely love this game.

secondly. are the foundations supposed to be a slab on the ground? or a tall thing above the ground, because....the graphic is a bit confusing..............especially if theres no way to get that high to walk in.

you can craft stairs, but its all personal pref how high you make it (you can hold shift and use scroll to move it up and down, and rotate without shift held down) :)

supposed to be ground level. i suppose if you look up, or something nearby triggers it then it might want to place it higher than that.

Foundations are... well, the foundation on which you build your base. You can lift them above the ground by holding shift and scroll up or down with your middle mouse button. Pillars, which you can use to support structures, is a different crafting recipe.
