Interactive Map with Groups & Markers
we have implemented a map with group and marker features: https://conanexiles.ginfo.gg/. You can join a group with all your friends you’re playing Conan-Exiles with and create markers on the map. These markers are instantly shared with every member of your group. Use the markers to share where you currently are on the map, to mark a point where you want to meet up or to show certain points of interest, like your base.

How it works:
  • Choose a username (right-top). Your username will receive a tag (e.g.: #1234) to make it unique. You can use this username to get invited to groups. Note that you cannot change your username later.
  • Create or join a group. You can join a group by giving your username to a member of a group and he invites you to the group. Or one of the group members provides you with a group link which you can use to make a join-request for the group.
  • A member of the group has to accept your request. You may have to scroll down a bit in the group-details dialog in order to see the requests.
  • Any member of the group can add and move markers on the map.

Please note that this is a first release and thus may contain some bugs and issues. If you encounter any problems please let us know. General feedback is also very much appreciated. It would also be interesting to know if you think there are any interesting point of interests we should show on the map by default (like water supply, landmarks, etc).
For any news regarding the website you can also checkout reddit /r/Ginfo.

The idea is incredible. But I think it still needs markers categories, so you can choose what to see or to hide.
A map has lots of information to imput. In case of Conan Exiles we might locate our base(s), tribe respawns, corruption dungeons, religious priests, rare monster...
So that would be incredibly useful to have markers categories with different colors(editable) with option to show or hide (like Photoshop eye funcion).
And another interesting feature to add is different level of edition. At least 2, so 1 to see and edit everything, and other 1 only to see the markers (without permission to edit).

Thanks for the feedback Hector!

We have just released an update with resource map!

Also, we are indeed planing to add different marker types to mark different positions, but did not think about having them with different colors and different visibility settings yet - I like the idea!
Different editing is something we're already working on.
For gathering the resource positions, we have a special group where people can post locations, but cant move locations by other people.
We will implement this as an option to normal groups as well.

Btw, if you're interested in contributing to the resource map, have a look at this post

Thanks for this! A useful resource to tide me over until the new map system is implemented in the game.

Well, after I found ARMA's map in the ginfo.gg and I think we should get to that point. There is no need to insert the symbol with legend and still see the standard marker above it and the name above them.

Hi Hector, you are seeing the standard marker above the resource symbol because you have joined the loot group.
If you want to contribute loot positions, thats fined. If you only want to view the resource map, you can leave the loot group, then there will be standard marker above the loot symbol.
(Currently, you can not stay in the group and just hide the markers of that group - we'll add that soon).

Let me ask you... I think it would be awesome for a standard user to make his own map, with acess to loot, legend, things like that. The website could grow a lot.
Only admins who have acess to create these customized markers?
And the markers could have animals design, like in Arma map... a lot more intuitive to understand, instead of random geometries like an X, circle, pentagon...

Post this in the mods section to gain more views btw. Nice job though.

This map is perfect for our servers needs thank you soo much for making this!

Suggestions:
*Login access - we can only access the map from a single computer without being able to sign in elsewhere

*Group Filtering - Having different groups are perfect but not being able to hide or change the icons of which group you are looking at is less useful

As i think of other things i'll edit this post but keep up the great job! You are doing the lords work!

Hi @Reikonyx, thanks for the Feedback!
Both of these suggestions are already on our TODO list

Hi Reikonyx, we've just deployed an update where both of those features are added! cheers

Great map!
Used it with friends to locate base-positions.
Only thing missing is all the resources etc. - There's a lot missing
