Is there a place to get iron stone?

I know you can get iron stone from commun stones, but it's really difficult, it's like 2-3 every 400 stones, anyone know a good spot to farm it?

North of the giant statues. They are a darker shade, (Not as dark as coal)
Northish is the only current point i'm aware of.

can you harvest that with stone pickaxe? because i found darker stone, its close to some coal, north of statues, but it wont break or give me anything?

I think you are looking at the same stone that the "bridge" is made of.
Coal is black and Iron is a lighter gray.

they are fairly small at least not bigger than the normal stones, but they might be the bridge rock.

if you find black stone that looks like rubble from a pillar or something you Cannot harvest that. There is a bunch of iron and coal in the center of the map and more if you go furthur north. iron rocks are small roundish silver rocks, coal rock are samll roundish black rocks.

the place i normally get iron is if you look at the map theres a river in the dead center runs north/south on the map at the bottom of the river is an long island directly north from the right tip of the island in roughly the center of the map is a ton of iron, at the same spot as the iron by the big you ruins camp theres roughly 8 - 10 coal nodes. hope this helps abit.
