The Food Poisoning mechanic is way off. If people were that poisonous, then there wouldn't be any cannibals. While I was about to starve, I ate human meat and I got food poisoning. I got little nutrition, maybe half of my food bar from 6 flesh but the poisoning killed me in a few minutes. I also tried to cook it first but it wouldn't cook. Sure I'd rather have some venison but that wasn't available. Makes me wonder if you get to be cannibalistic if you follow Yog.

If you are a follower of Yog, and make a pit of Yog, you get a special cleaver to get "unblemished human flesh"...you purify it in the Pit and you get purified cooked flesh that regains health. Now, the food poisoning is off. I've gotten it drinking from my waterskin, and low level, there is really no way to get rid of it.

followers of set make poison antidotes with human hearts in the altar. It removes any poisoning that i've gotten in the game so far, including food poisoning.

There is a way to get rid of it.....eating like 5-6 eggs will cure it...however depending on how many you have eaten....stated above, there is a little number next to the icon that states how many minutes you have it for

Violet Cureall, Set Antidote or time if it doesn't kill you.

First Survival perk allow you to eat raw meat etc, never poison again. even pudrid meat goes.
