Singleplayer Servers - Multiple characters please

I am testing this with Singleplayer server and my GF wanted to run a character on it herself but it seems you can't do it that way. We don't have access to another computer to connect to the SP server and run a character that way.

What I would like to know is if it could be possible to run multiple characters in a SP server so I can play and then the GF can run her character.

Or can we run multiple SP servers for different characters?

I agree. My wife plays with me on my coop server but I would like to tinker around with another character without messing up the characters we have together.

yes please that would be awesome. I would like to make more characters and try out new stuff without having to delete everything I have build so far with the existing toon. And that way my brother can have his character on my server as well.

Not once in the history of anything ever using any of the Unreal engines has this been a thing and likely isn't going to change.

Step 1. Have separate steam accounts
Step 2. Use Steams Family Sharing (Guide: http://store.steampowered.com/promotion/familysharing)
Step 3. You can now have multiple characters on a server, based on the steam account

You can't have both online at the same time though :)

Absolutely want this feature. You should be able to make as many single player servers/characters on your computer you want & just select which one to load. You can esentially do it now by copying & renaming your save file, but there should be a user-friendly UI for choosing & loading a save file... like a regular game.

YES AND NO. FUNCOM ADD THE ABILITY TO RECUSTOMIZE YOUR CHARACTER WITHOUT LOSING STATS, INVENTORY, OR PROGRESS. That's my personal preference. Instead of playing multiple characters that don't differ in ability like AOC. Plus you can learn all relgions fully of what you initially choose. Nothing differes the races which is a good thing. Alternativley allow for more Character slots in MP & SP. But please for the love of CROM do not Charge us for Extra CHAR/TOON slots like in AOC!!! That's why I say go with my initial suggestion. There is a RECUSTOMIZER mod by Kharzette on the Workshop very useful. You can even change your Sex, Hair, Eyes, Bust Size. It has it's limits tho. I wish you could just jump back to the cross in game whenever you like to get that perfect look. Peace Barbarians.

Well, sometimes I like to have multiple characters in the same game because I'll play 1 character in one way, for one reason & another a totally differnet way for a different challenge.

Yes, I want that option too. If it is limited to single player servers, there are no issues with exploits to the disadvantage of other players.

I want them because there is a level cap and therefore a limitation in total knowledge points. Those knowledge points you can earn on a single character only unlock a small part of the total range of constructible items. I want to be able to build everything in my personal single player world, for maximum variety. For starters, I would like to play one character as a dedicated base builder and one as an armorer/weaponsmith who can produce all the gear. As both are regular tasks, the character reset potion is not a practical option.
