Black screen

Hi everytime i try to join a server i just get suck on a black screen with the background music playing. anyone else suffering with this issue ?

Yes same issue here. Been trying to get into a game name for over 2 hours and still havne't been able to.

Same here, I can connect to a random open offical server and start a char. But when I try my private hosted server (GTXGaming) it just has a black screen.

yeh im also trying to get onto my private hosted server also @ gtx .

We needed to reboot the machine you are on due to a critical update to the conan exiles software. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

I also have a gtx server and just get stuck on a black screen with music. People have been complaining about this since last night. I was up until 8 this morning trying to get in it's now 5pm. I thought it would have been fixed by now wtf are they doing lol

To fix the black screen issue when connecting to your server go to configuration files and load engine.ini with the configuration editor and click save. 

Now restart your server and it will be fixed.

Just had this from them in my control panel. Going to try it now

does it have to be your server? what about having this bug when trying to connect to another server? i realized that i cannot connect only to that one server, which has 0 players online right now. so does the owner of that server has to fix that problem?

Those of us with private servers started having this issue with the latest patch. We got around it but starting the client and waiting until it gets to the early access click to continue screen. Alt-tab out and go to steam connect to server menu. Find your server under that list and connect from there. I hope that works for you.

I used Conan Exiles > Guides > Lagosaurus's Guides

Then after Black Screen issues I Found my solution. After launching Conana Exiles Game, alt tab out then open server browser using STEAM. Chose to connect using LAN and worked great for my dedicated (seperate box). any other attempt to connect caused my "Black Screen" issue.
