How do I join a Private Server?

I have the IP I want to join, I simply cannot find anywhere in game that lets me put the IP in to join the server I want. For ♥♥♥♥♥ sake this should be easy someone please tell me.

use your Steam client to add a fav server. at the top of Steam, click 'View' then servers. Add the IP and port in there. When you connect to game it should then appear in your favs list. It worked for me in Ark and in Conan Exiles.
