Yeah, Discord doesn't require that at all. Just download the app, create a channel, done. Without a link to it no one can find it. So you just send the invite link to your clanmates. No worry about random strangers.
I think you should at least check it out and see if it will fit your needs. Hate to see people not playing a game they might otherwise enjoy if there is a solution to their issue available.
Thanks for the invite but I will pass. I just want to the game installed and for devs to take part in the same revenues that DISCORD obviously are making off the gamers./
and you said A lot of things I am getting wrong..besids pay what else are you referring to?
SQUAD is a first person tactical shooter, where radio communication is a thing. That a lone explains why there are Squad and Squad lead voip(Team based chat)..as they're voice channels for the 'radio'
Survival games like conan do not have radio technology, global/team/clan voice doesn't need to happen. Breaks immersion and doesn't make sense in the world of Conan.
True. I understand the immersion player will not want or use this but most players are in groups who use a global voice chat already even if its just one or two friends.
This is where player trends are going and why Discord and teampseak where made in teh first place.
Proximity Voice has it's purpose but the core of players just want to be able to talk friends /clan/ party in game while playing. because it's fun.
