How to Find Secret / Hidden Bases...

On our server we had a pirate clan that started raiding us. They were much lower level than us and we godded all their bases, setting them back months. Needless to say they have vowed to destroy all our bases with gods and bragged they were building secret bases all over the map to further that end.

So we started getting wise and developing effective ways to find all their bases. Often you cannot even see them when scouting as they tear down stairs completely leaving no visible clues there is a base there. So here is one way to detect such bases and I thought I would share in case you have a local terrorist cell you need to stamp out. Enjoy....

They were much lower level than us so we godded their base...

That's why the mechanic needs to be changed.

It can be changed... There are numerous servers where gods are disabled...

Higher levels preying upon lower levels is something i always looked ill on but these lower level guys apparently asked for it. Doesn't matter what level ya are if you go out looking for a fight, you reserve the right to an ass kicking.

100% Official servers need a balance between players and people with little to no lives.

wouldn't that trick require multiple people running around with foundations to check places? i mean in your case you already knew there was gonna be something up ontop of the tower of bats, but lol even i build there in SP, logically there will be buildings up there, but if you don't know exactly where to look then this could take a few hours, no?
