Boss Achievement

I finally got around to replaying this game to do a Boss Achievement playthrough. Unfortunately, after I completed the bonus chapter and returned to the main menu, everything except boss unlocked both in game and in Steam.

I went into the bonus materials menu, selected achievments, and everything except Boss has unlocked.

Is there a working save file that someone has, or some sort of workaround? I don't really want to do it a third time.

Do you know where the save file located? I've earned the boss achievement both in game and steam. My save file might work for you.

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Goblinz\TrueFear_ForsakenSouls\Profiles according to the devs.

Thank you for doing this. The achievement unlocked before I even made it to the main menu. So if anyone else is stuck trying to get this to unlock, it works.

I also used this files to try to get bugged achievement "for all facts in bonus chapter", but unlocked only Boss achievement. I really wish that there is a way (with any save file or anything except SAM, which I don't plan use ever) which will unlock this bugged achievement for me and other people who complained on forums about this. We kinda lost hope that fix will ever show up...

All facts in bonus chapter isn't hard to get, you need to click on almost everything and read what her thoughts about it.

So you didn't get all the achievments but unlocked boss, yet I did all achievements and didn't unlock boss?

I noticed something weird going on with one playthrough around the point with the Atomic memory puzzle. I thought I had messed it up in my previous playthrough because the game said I had completed one fewer puzzle in under 2 minutes than I had completed without a hint.

On my second playthrough, I experienced the same thing around the same point in the game (even though I made sure to complete everything in time), yet continued anyway and ended up getting all achievements except Boss. Something just doesn't count correctly.

I had missing 2 achievements + Boss one. I missed 28/29 puzzles solved under a minute (missed only one, 29th) and missed the one which is bugged, the one about everyone complain on forums, for collecting all facts from bonus part. That achievement unlocked inside the game, because all are collected for real, but on Steam it show 10/13. Now I am completely messed up and looking a bit as cheater in eyes of other achievement hutners, but its my own mistake because I tried this. Anyway planing to repeat whole game (probably now on easiest mode), one fast/run playthrough, to give another try to that "bonus facts" achievement and probably will not be problem for "puzzles under minute achievement".

Remember, you have to get all the achievements in one playthrough for Boss. As for doing puzzles in under a minute, hitting escape (Pause) stops the timer for the puzzle. What I did for Atomic Memory on my last playthrough was record myself flipping all the cards as quickly as I could, paused it, then watched the video and wrote down all the cards.

I never had the issue with the facts on any of my playthroughs. Here's a list of all the facts to make sure you have them:

Note - "I've met a girl!"

Thanks a lot for this list. This days when I start my second playthrough I will carefully look on this list to not miss something. But, my problem was that achievement was unlocked in game (when I check in-game achievements, it's there checked as done) and also when it was unlocked, in-game pop-up came, but on Steam still shows 10/13. This is just one of few threads on Steam related with this issues.

This achievement is broken. Just checked all the facts and i got all of them. @Moth and @Feena played this game before the patch that broke it... It cant be earned with savegame nor any other way except SAM. The game simply got broken calling event for steam cheevo to unlock. All who got this achievement (the right way, without SAM) simply got it before the patch which came out in the end of 2017-beginning of the 2018, even astats cheevo unlock history telling the same. And btw, there's no reason to post anything on this forum, the only moderator, Dagger, is not working in Goblinz anymore, so... Неси бухло, катаем вечеринку!

I think, everyone who is interested in getting the fix - must create the exactly same thread in discussions for Part 2. I did it already.

UPDATE. Seems like that you can download old depots from even 2016. I'll try it in the evening at home. And seems like that there will be working one :)))
