Lets start our game theories thread! *spoilers heavy*
I was wondering if any of you guys would like to share your theories about the game and what we will expect in the next episode as it stopped in a huge cliffhanger.

I've been wondering who the strange girl who's been following us is, but remember after finishing the main game without the bonus chapter, there was a short cutscene where the girl with black hair said "You seem disappointing, did you really think I was your sister?" This line made me wonder who she really is. My sister says it could be the mother.. but I don't know.

Here is my theory: I think the girl is someone who died long ago and was buried in that coffin we find underneath the house, her name is Elizabeth too because in the bonus chapter the man called her as 'little Liz' when he went all crazy and started to believe her. So she share the same name as the mother who was lured into this house by that family and was knocked up somehow (but since it was close to that tombs area, i'd assume it was a demon)

I'm assuming the 3rd sister Dahlia was possessed by this girl, this is why she was wild, but after she died in that fire, she was unleashed and went after the mother, then the 2nd sister, now she is after the main character to kill them all? but for what reason?

I'd like to discuss this with you guys until we get the demo for the 2nd episode :D I'm so excited to learn more about this story!

Now, another question:

1. Did Charles manipulate Dark Dahlia/Evil Girl

Or

2. Did Dark Dahlia manipulate Charls, as well .... ???

I have the feeling that Charles and Dark Dahlia are related, she is either his sister/daughter who died and he want to resurrect via dark magic with the help of Elizabeth body or.. She is the 3rd twin sister who want to revenge for her and all block C patients death.

Did Charles manipulate her hmm, perhaps, because I can't see him being manipulated by anyone, he has the power to do anything as far as we can tell in this game.

Lets hope all of these questions will be answered in the 2nd game soon!

Charles Laudius was once an ordinary man with a succesful business. But in spite of being a succesfull business man, Charles and his wife had a hard time trying to conceive a child. So when his wife finally became pregnant, they were both ecstatic with joy. Their happines came to and abrubt end though, when 9 months later, Claudius' wife gave birth to a dead female child, strangled in it's own umbillical chord.
The couple was stricken with grief beyond anything anyone could imagine. In desperation they sought relief anywhere they could, without questioning it's origins. And that's when dark and occult powers presented a solution to Charles, in form of a modern satanist priest, who promised they could revive their daughter, if they were willing to make the necessary sacrifices.
The child that would have been named Elisabeth, could live again through Dahlia.
Charles and his wife reluctantly agreed in the beginning, but was quickly ensnared by the opportunity to get his wish fulfilled: To get his child returned to him.
So he used a great deal of his fortune to build an underground temple, and to support another family in need, in return for certain... "arrangements"
The adult Elisabeth was one day drugged and raped by the satanic priest. Elizabeth became pregnant with triplets. Dahlia was the third and unusual trplet that had to be committed to the Asylum.

Laudius also became a large benefactor to DF Asylum following Dahilias institutionalizing.

I like this theory and the way you wrote it Kristian. But why would Charles build an 'ancient' temple under the house? The graveyard looked like its been there since medieval times.
kristian.olsen 8 ENE 2017 a las 12:44 p. m.
Oh... yeah...my bad :-) ... Well maybe Charles Laudius bought the estate knowing in advance that it had a hidden medieval, cursed graveyard?
kristian.olsen 8 ENE 2017 a las 12:54 p. m.
Hmmm- i can see that i've been censored a bit. Perhaps i should have written "unwilling coitus" instead? Would that be more acceptable?
ms52 9 ENE 2017 a las 1:35 a. m.
Hi Kristian, I too like your theory, and I also agree with Feena re medieval graveyard already being in place, centuries before Charles bought the estate.

Drugging and forcing Elisabeth for an unwilling "insemination" .... there, that should be OK, LOL!

One of the babies was born/infested with an evil spirit, aka Rosemary's Baby ....

I actuallly wonder what happened to Charles, and his "family". In the old picture of the twins in front of the Laudius estate, they are surrounded by 7 men! So far, we don't have a picture of Charles' wife or any information about her. Hence your theory re still born child makes sense.

Perhaps she (the wife) ended up in the Asylum as well ...... went insane with grief.

Young Elisabeth served as an incubator and vessel for that "special" child.

Back to the question: is Holly "the special" one ???

7 men, 7 skulls at the entrance to the underground temple/burial site. Number 7 is significant, however at this stage I have no idea why it i so ....

Ah, back to older and newer theories.

It is great to have new input!

Our main character says that the Asylum feels strangely familiar. BTW notice that her addres is Rosemary street. A little joke from the developers of the game, perhaps ;-)
kristian.olsen 9 ENE 2017 a las 8:44 a. m.
Oh wait... it's Heather that lived on Rosemary street :-)
ms52 9 ENE 2017 a las 3:26 p. m.
Thanks Kristian, great observation! Ha Ha, now I will start the game again to have a look. Yes, as so many things are symbolic or alluded to, this may be another bit of fun from the great devs :)

Maybe I will watch Rosemary's Baby again ..... :)

As to the question of the origins of the underground graveyard: I've been thinking that the logical answer could be, that the graves and the relics of the temple COULD have been transported to the location.
After all, it makes no sense that midieval knights should have settled and/or died in the US. At that time noone didn't even know America (nor Canada or Australia) existed. And I don't think the story takes plce in the UK either.
ms52 11 ENE 2017 a las 9:40 p. m.
Yes, the underground graveyard is a mystery. I have no idea about this.

My theory is kinda dark: the property owner knocked out the mom in the basement and raped her. The reason why he kept trying to buy out the family is because he didn't want anyone to find out. The mom suspected, so that's why she kept telling so many lies about who the father was or wasn't.

I'm not sure why the third sister, Dahlia, was sent to the Dark Falls Asylum, but I'm interested in finding out. But the mom did visit her a lot. That's why there kept being references to her in the bonus level.

And... I just lost the rest of my theory. I'll go replay the game and try to remember what my train of thought was, mostly regarding the mom and the bonus level.
