Not Fullscreen When Using Oculus Rift

Hi, I have been trying to get TF2 to work with my Oculus Rift and am not succeeding :(

I have tried this on both Mavericks and Windows 8.1 - same result.

I have calibrated the Oculus in OpenVR
Added -vr to the launch options
Enabled Virtual Reality in the Video options
Restarted TF2 and Activated Virtual Realtiy

TF2 will not go fullscreen. Wearing the rift, TF2 has a big black border around it. I am running everything in 1280 x 800.

Any suggestions?
