No Option to Enable VR

So I have a Rift and it's all setup correct. When I start TF2 I can see it in that theater mode. I do not have an option to Enable VR. Is there something I have to do to get that to appear? I have everything updated so I am not sure what is going on. Thanks in advance for the help!

Go to steam settings and then opt into betas. After it installs an update, the option should be added to the TF2 menu.

for me i went to properties on TF2 by left clicking it in libary, clicked set launch options, typed in "-vr" and then it worked, but now after a few days of working the vr screen only appears on my pc and not the headset

Same here, finally got the vr menu option but when I enable I just see a side-by-side view on my main monitor and cant click on anything while my headset just shows steamvr

Go to the Options menu and go to Video and find Virtual Reality Mode.

Unless they have updated since the end of august, then that doesnt work, like we said above, we are enabling that option and just see SBS on the monitor

Doesnt work, just makes tf2 close when you click on Options.

Fun Fact: If you have -vr in your launch options and launch without vr enabled, when you click on options in tf2 your computer will instantly shutdown and reboot.
