Mann-up is good because there's no F2P. I'm not saying that there's no noob there, just much better than bootcamp.
I'm basically doing mecha engie over and over and never completing decoy.
You don't play mann up for profit, it just doesn't add up. Every botkiller regular is 1-2 tickets at most, every high end botkiller prize can be bought for the equivalent of 1-2 tours of ticket/key value. Especially the 6 ticket tours, which are effectively 3 keys a tour, its just way way cheaper to buy a gold than hope for that 1/20 tour chance of getting lucky.
Golds really are under priced...
You play mann up for fun, nothing more
If you want the botkillers just buy tour tickets and trade those off, but earning one isn't bad either.
And what exactly Robohats have to do with Botkillers weapons and MVM? Nothing except with the association of the word robot.
No FUD please.
Nope, botkillers are still useful as any strange...a weapon is a better investment than most hats which are tossed aside within weeks....most robo hats which came from the crate are now craft hats.
The other hats which only drop from mvm aren't particularly high demand either, weapons > hats unless unusual.
Anyways, you haven't finished a tour since I met you it seems.:P
Hmmm, let's see, Pay cash for a the same game mode that is already free. Or play free version and use money to purchase new fun games like Oh Idunno:
- Awesomenauts
- Serious Same Triple Pack
- Legends of Grimrock
- Don't Starve
- System Shock 2
Just to pull a couple off the top of my head. See that's why I have no plans on opening any crates. It doesn't change the gameplay in TF2. Iand it costs money that would logically be better spent on something that provides a new and fun gameplay experience as opposed to the same repetitive grind. For all the talk of Botkillers, I can't remember the last time I saw anyone actually using one, in MvM or PvP.
Like it or not there is a difference between a good mann up team and bootcamp with pubs.
