So what happened to MVM being Red & Blu Vs Grey?
Because I thought that was much cooler. Instead we have red vs blu like normal. :(

I have to say that it's a slight dissapointment to me but other than that fact everything else about MVM is great. Gameplay wise i mean though the queing is awful for now though, as i hope that there are a lot more servers popping up in a couple of days

They've been hinting towards MvM for a year or two now so it's kind of inexcusable that they would do something like that when they've had all that time to skin the bots to be gray. The only reasoning I can think of is because there are retarded players that still thought it was Red v Blu in playtesting, and so they fought their opposing players meanwhile they were their own team mates. Believe me, there are actual people that can be stupid enough to do something like that. There's a reskin mod on gamebanana.com though that changes the skin of the robots to actually be gray.

I heard that it was because valve's playtesters got confused and shot at each other. This, despite the giant robots who shot at, and subsequently, killed them. Where the hell valve got these people, I don't know.

Developers always have the tendency to hire people to be their playtesters despite the fact they have a very low IQ.

Playtesters always seem to be really stupid when valve uses em -_-

Yea, its kinda sad playing only with the red team, make it look like the blu have just disappeared forever and will never go back! T_T

This is the best way to idiot proof your game, you know.

Valve needs to change this since the majority of fans aren't color blind and mentally retarded.

this
My guess is that after years and years of shooting at people of the opposite color, it's kind of hardwired in your brain. There would be lots of unintentional friendly fire incidents.

except that i get that all the time when I change teams, it happens once, then i realize im stupid and im no longer on the red team, then for the rest of the match i'm fine.

The confusion really shouldnt be a problem

The majority of fans that go on forums like this maybe, but you should NEVER underestimate the amount of people that are complete morons. I mean, have you ever been in a Valve server? Serious badness all over the place.

Blue is too close to grey from a distance.

Red defends, blue attacks, same as any other map. The real question here is why Valve put so much effort into the Gray backstory if they weren't planning on using it in-game.
