[MvM] Modding Robot-skins, question^^

Heyho,

first of all, i am new on the forums^^
So heyho @ all of u!

I have a question/problem:
I would like to have the robot-skins in TF2, so that i can play with a robot skin.
Actually i just want the robot-engy-skin, but of course, when it's easier, i also take all robot-skins.

So i downloaded the whole package, and just replaced the "normal" models with the new downloaded ones. But when i am in-game, i still have the normal skins.
Btw, the foler is in: C/program files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/Common/ Team fortress 2/ tf/ models/player.

and i did, what was in the desriptions. I read texts, watched tutorials, but nothing helped.



Sooo:
Does any-1 know more on that?
what is the difference between players and bots?
Bots are for offline-gaming?

C/program files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/Common/ Team fortress 2/ tf/ models/player.
You need the Robot-Skins in the custom folder because since we got the steampipeupdate they mostly only work right in the custom folder there is a readme.

and which files should i drag and drop?
player-model and player-animations?

Were the Robot-Skins in a zip folder?If yes drag all of the files from that one.

Hmm.
I made a folder alled "Engy" in the "custom" with all the robot-engineer-files, but it's still not working. Can i convert these things somehow to a .vpk-file?

Maybe or try getting the whole thing as a vpk file.Maybe on Gamebanana?

dont use robot skins, hats look VERY weird on them

Thx, it worked. I made a .vpk-file out of them.^^

and nope, i just use robot on engy^^
Qeustion: Can the others also see, that i'm a robot?
(Because normally they can't, but maybe it's different in TF2)

No, it only affects you, and all other engies you see will be robots too.

Because once i've seen a robot-engy, but i didnt have the robot-eng-ymod.

The server must have the robot plugin thats why its the only thing others can see you as robot.
