Wave 666 is only huge robot spam and is easier than the expert missions.
"Ignoring the skill of your teammates."
And even if you take teammate skill into account, no. One person can do half of Wave 666 by themselves. You start with so much money, you don't have to rely on teammates as much
Try it sometime, it's all you ever get in pubs.
You got 12 Super Scouts right off the bat, 2 each every 10 seconds. Six of those come before the two Tanks arrive, which have 12K HP each. The other six will still show up during the Tanks, meaning a stone wall defense is absolutely necessary or one will end up slipping past with the bomb and netting a victory. Even if you do kill the Super Scout as he tries to plant the bomb, it hinders you so much for the rest of the wave, as letting a single robot past without no one guarding it means instant loss, but your likely one man down if someone does defend the bomb.
During all this, a bunch of Soldiers and Pyros start to arrive, 20 each. They will not hesitate to gang up on you and camp your spawn if possible. You also have constant Scouts as Support, though they are melee only, can be the buggers that end up last hitting you or slipping past with the bomb. Snipers also are Support, though only two spawn each time, can still kill you as easily if not dealt with.
And the last bit is a zerg rush of 8 Giant Heavies, each pocketed by 3 Uber Medics. They come at two of a time, but the next two will show up 20 seconds later. Popping the Uber Medics early is possible, but must be dealt with by your Demo/Sniper if one of the Giant Heavies is too close to the hatch, or it will be the end for you.
The next pair doesn't show up until the previous pair's dead.
But yes, people suck at killing these, for some reason.
Well, I checked the wiki, and it says:
"Mannslaughter is an expert invasion mission available on the Mannworks map. It is widely regarded as the most difficult mission in the game."
That answers that question easily enough.
Didn't save the change though.
aww....
