Team Fortress 2
How to install a mod which shows giant's health?
I have been looking for a mod that lets me see giants health in numerical figure + teammates health in the same way. After finding installing it, i only saw the effect in the teammates and not in the robot giants.
Tried this[dl.dropboxusercontent.com] and the author said that:

If you don't see the Cross you can't see the digits. This scripts simply translate the cross value into digits. I think something happened with Chirs Config. What I'd do is add -autoconfig as a TF2 launch options. That way it should restore a vanilla configuration (destroy any script/config you've previously used). Then you can start modding it again. Never used that options. Take your risk by yourself

Just wanna know if its gonna help or ruin my game before im gonna try it.

Um... Giants always show health? Like, you dont need anything custom for that.

It doesn't show if the stupid Target ID system is turned off.
For me i dont see the white cross icon but what i actually want is the numerical version of that icon (perhaps both will be perfect, like how the video suggests). I do see BOTH white cross and numbers for teammates, but NONE for robo giants.

Use a custom hud that shows it.

Yeah, just use a custom HUD. I personally use Eve HUD but most have the feature. If you're wanting to keep vanilla HUD, I'm sure there's something out there.

RaysHUD shows you the health of giants and even buildings too.

Or don't use it. It's a crutch :)

I've considered getting a Custom HUD, but they seem to always cause random problems.
I'll try stuff from huds.tf after work. thanks.

I'll expand on this:

A few months back, Valve added the console variable tf_hud_target_id_disable_floating_health, which is 1 by default. Because they never test their ♥♥♥♥, they didn't notice that having that set to 1 makes giant robots' health not show up. They still have not fixed this.

So you need to set that console variable to 0. Or, just go to the advanced options and make sure that "TargetID - disable floating healthbar" is unchecked; that does the same thing.
