How much does it cost to complete a professional fabricator?

If I'm gonna buy the parts in the store & already have a fabricator.

3 Pristine parts is about $1.20, 2 Specialized weapons would be around $4 (or less) each if you can find cheap kits on the market, then the rest of the fodder items shouldn't be more than $2ish (assuming another 22 items at no more than $0.10 each)

I found that most of the time, the difference in price between the pro fabricator and pro kit is very close to the cost of inputs.

In terms of keys, about 4 keys. 4*2 ref for the regular kits, 6.33*2 ref for parts for both specialized kits, and 1.25 keys for parts for the pro kit.

If you buy everything on the market, it will be around $10. The cheapest killstreak kit on the market is still usually >$1, and you'll need two of these to turn you spec. fabs into kits. You can do trades on outpost and get killstreak kits and weapons for 2ref (~60-66cents), and save a little bit that way. But all in all, it will be somewhere between $9-$10. A lot of pro fabricators aren't worth turning into kits, because they often sell for less than $10 on the market - all the crap melee weapons for example.

This right here. It's about $5 for me so far, but I won't be surprised if it goes higher. Luckily, I got a Rescue Ranger one, so I'll make a slight profit.
