Sometimes you'll fail the wave. Maybe someone wasn't paying attention at a critical time, or whatever. The early waves are the hardest, since you have so few upgrades to work with. Even with a full team of 6, with 1 sub 10 tour and the rest over 30, we still failed the first wave. After that, it was fine.
So they leave, the problem is gone, new player joins, everything goes smooth as butter.
I only leave with the others if there's 2 people left. It seems if there's 2 people left, the matchmaking takes a long while to match other players again. It's faster to just start searching again.
That's why I stick with the bastards if they manage to fail a wave here and there. Seeing a team with potential be successful to beat the mission after wave failures is one of the fun parts of the game.
I leave if they start the blame game and don't stfu with the whining.
