MvM Romevision not applying even though I have the Hardy Laurel

Hi all,
recently realised Romevision isn't working for me even though I own the Hardy Laurel in my backpack. I only get the pop up asking if I want to equip Romevision if someone else joins with the Hardy Laurel in their backpack. Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and if they know a fix, because I would like to use Romevision without relying on anyone else.

Go into options and tick the box "enable romevision"

If you're referring to the advanced option setting "Enable Romevision when available" this does nothing, unfortunately

if you want to turn it off

tf_romevision_opt_in 0
tf_romevision_skip_prompt 1 (removes the popup entirely)

This seemed to work in a solo game (typing map mvm_mannhattan in console)
i'll try it next time I play mann up
