Any way to play Mann Vs. Machine with 12 players?

I once was told you can have more than 6 players in MvM in community servers, but never found out how to do this. Is this true? And how do I play it?

There are many community servers like that, well, most of them allow 10 players.
Just open the server browser and search for mvm maps with a "10" in tags
