How do people play MvM (Boot Camp) with friends since invites have been limited?
There might be something I'm missing here. I came back to TF2 after quite a long timeout after my initial shock at the trade embargo had worn off and I fancied some MvM.

I found that I could no longer invite all my friends to form a party. There was now a limit to the amount of invites I could send. This means that I could no longer form a party to play MvM with, which means no games apart from random public encounters. Or maybe I'll have to find another way, such as texting everyone in advance and creating a poll so we're planning matches two weeks ahead. If someone drops out, though, there's no way of replacing him.

So, it looks bad to me, but I figured what's bad for me is usually great for someone else. So I thought I'd ask for your perspective on the new party system and maybe you know a great way to get a 6-player team going without much effort and forward planning.

I do kinda miss the days when I would just invite 50 people, 5 of which would show up and we'd waste some robots. It felt simple, but I'm also old and therefore nostalgic without reason. I miss the days when I wasn't nostalgic without reason.

So tell me how it works now, because "leaving TF2 for good" doesn't really sound like the best option. Or does Valve want that game to die because it doesn't pay anymore? Iunno. Weird.

Invite all your friends to a Discord group and announce a game there.
