and set it higher then 75 which is stock fov
it will basically make your view bigger and you can see more, competetive players use it too.

does this works too for TF2? and btw can i also use autoexec file to save the fov?

Your aspect ratio also changes it. The command maxes out at 90, but if you play on a 16:9 monitor, the added length on the sides compared to 4:3 puts it up to ~110 fov iirc.
75 is not the stock viewmodel fov.
fov=2arctan((3/4)(aspectratio)) is the equation for fov in radians (then just convert to degrees) for anyone wondering.
