Portal Turret in TF2

I thought this would be cool: A Portal Turret in TF2.

Pros:
+ Level 2 Sentry Fire rate
+ 2x Longer Sap time
+ Functional while being sapped
+ Level 2 Damage Resistance

Cons:
- Cannot be upgraded past level 1
- Cannot turn more than 180* forward (cannot turn around)
- Can only be healed up to 50% of health if damaged

If sentries are the PCs, then the portal turrets are the Macs, and you can see why.
Also, since it would be wrench based:

Orange Entry Tele
Light blue Exit Tele

If I knew how to use the Source SDK, I would totally port this and submit to the workshop. No funny ideas though...

hm seems legit and seems pretty cool but how would someone use it? like what weapon would someone use to build it?

It would replace the normal sentry for Engie. The weapon designation would have to be a reskined wrench, most likely white with Aperture Science stuff on it.

Then we could use the Ap-Sap on it for Portal-ception. But I doubt that it will surface other than possibly being part of a Portal 3 ARG?

If they were going to add a Lullaby Turret to TF2, then I say keep it simple and just make it a Mini Sentry reskin.

I'm still hoping that one of these days Valve will add more Portal-themed items to TF2 such as the Combustible Lemon Launcher on the Workshop. Make them prizes for crafting Portal 2 Badges even.
