Anybody else think Buffalo Steak Sandviche and GRU should stack again?
And before you become confused, lemme show a bit of trivia.

When the BSS was introduced into the game, the heavy could use both the GRU and BSS to run at the same speed as a scout. This was later and quickly patched as soon as Valve heard heavies were going this fast with little cost to them.

What made me think about this idea again? During the recent patch of a lot of items getting buffed and nerfed, the steak sandviche has been changed from recieving minicrits to recieving 25% more damage taken. This seems to be more risky, but that's not the ugly part. If the heavy happens to wear GRU while under the effects of Buffalo Steak Sandviche, he will be marked for death, thus stacking with the 25% more damage taken and making any damage he recieves much, MUCH deadlier. Due to the fact that this combo is now even more useless than before since the speed still doesn't stack, no heavy would ever dare try it (unless they were somekind of griefer).

Yet, if the speed stacked again, it would make the heavy have minicrits and run at the speed of a scout, at the cost of only wielding melee and extremely vulnerable to everything.

So, extremely dumb idea, or no?

I really couldn't see this being practical. I mean, if you're using the Steak properly, that is to get from a safe place to another quickly and not just rush headlong at enemies, you'll pretty much get where you want to go before the Steak runs out anyways. The extra speed would just mean standing around longer waiting for the boost to end. The only reason anyone would use it is for goofing around, because using it seriously would just be redundant.

Minicrtis plus 25% on top of that, only a fool would actually risk it. Considering it adds to almost 60% more damage taken, I suppose why not go for it, let the heavvy try to run, see how far he gets before he's wiped out.
