Can you still get items from offline practice?

For those of you who don't know, there was an update on July 17 that added a bunch of conditions for obtaining weapons to counter idleing. *Title*

Yes, you can get items while in offline practice.

since the anti-idling patch, i haven't gotten any drops with bots.

Sorry, Bru. The new rules is made so you have to be on an Online server with real people (including bots together with the humans, since you still play with humans).

The requirements are:
"Is connected to a VAC secured server.
Is responding to in-game drop notifications while not utilizing external programs to do so.
Is running only one instance of the game.
Is not in textmode."
So as long as your offline server is VAC secured (I think they are by default), you aren't in textmode, and you are actively responding to the notifications, then you should be fine.

My Offline servers are not VAC'ed. :0 I cheat all the time "fer the lulz", like tf_damage_multiplier set to 10000, and everyone dies in one shot. Hilarious. xD

Still, I didn't knew they were VAC-secured...

Yes, I got the kritzkrieg on offline practice.

The eye lander and kritkrieg are both achieve items I think which I'm pretty. Sure are possible to get offline

You can get them as regular drops, however, and it seems these people are claiming they were regular drops.
