Scout's from Boston. He learnt to run fast because he and his brothers always were fighting, and as the runt he always was the weakest. He taught himself to run to get there before his brothers and get into the fray faster.
The Soldier's American. The army turned him down, and he went on a Nazi killing spree till 1949.
The Pyro is an alien.
The Demo is Scottish, and comes from the degroot family. His eye was taken by merasmus. He learnt how to use explosives after his parents abandoned him to see how he could stand up for himself
The Heavy is Russian. His father was a revolutionary whom was killed. He, his sister and mother were thrown into a gulag, though they all escaped.
The Engie is also American. His entire family has always been in the BLUE team, specifically.
The Sniper is australian where he learnt how to shoot.
The Spy's french. nuff said
The medic is german. nuff said.

Well... scout came from russia, soldier came from pyroland during the great depression, pyro came from canada, demoman came from ireland, demoknight came from france, demopan came from scotpand, heavy came from japan, medic came from alaska, sniper came from that one place, and spy came from blu spy's womb.

Fair to assume that the Spy and Scout are relatively close in age, no? Someone who is the same age as someone else cannot be their father.

It has been made clear that Scout is the youngest of the mercenaries and even implied that he's only in his early 20s. Spy has no such distinction and could be in his 40s for all we know.
