I can't join servers with custom maps.

The map downloads about half way and freezes. Then it says "missing map maps/(mapname).bsp, disconnecting. I also have the allow all custom files option on in the multiplayer settings. Please help.

Try downloading the Map by yourself which one exactly?

yea, sometimes that happens its prolly more to do with that specific server. only thing I can suggest is if you know exactly what map it is you can DL it manually outside of the game but if its something like a vsh or death run server that frequently cycles you may have better luck connecting later on. dunno why but sometimes that works

Nah try downloading some from tf2maps or gamebana if they aviable for download this works for me

I doubt it, but with how some folks have been having some problems with the game freezing or crashing on start and item drops being finicky, maybe this unable to connect with custom maps is more of a rfecent problem. I haven't heard of anyone else experiencing this, but I haven't actually tried playing on any new custom maps recently either

Well played and all custom game files including Skins and Sounds nothing to since he only could use Only Map
