So anyone know about this "scrap.tf" site?

I'm trying to get a premium, but according to a few players, this is one of the steps of getting it. Basically saying that you can trade scrap for items on it if I recall. Actually, I haven't had time to pay attention to what it really does, but my real question is if it's legit or not. It gives you the option to log in via steam, but I'm still sorta skeptcial and I get easily nervous around those thing. Any info about it is highly appreciated. All I want is a premium gift that I'm willing to trade numerous scrap metal for it, but even I have to draw the line somewhere when it comes to these kinds of things.

I've been playing for nearly 2 years, and I find absolutely NO need in these trading sites. I'm sure a few are legit. But this is not required to be a premium member. Just spend a measly 5$ (or whatever your currency is) to become a premium member.

If you do go on these sites, I would never use the same password that you use for Steam. And as always, if it looks skeptical never put important information like CC info, phonenumber, email, or any of that jazz.

lol, stupid people, these trading sites are actually legit, when you click log in it takes you to a steam page where you log in through steam so it can access your backpack and achievements etc. If you want premuim then buy two keys or something of the mann co store for $5 but then you only have the option of uncrating which you will probably get a strange fists of steel worth 0.11 but on a trading site you could get a team captain for a key or 4 craft hats or heaps of stranges. Recommended:

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. I don't have a paypal or credit card account, otherwise I wouldn't be making this post.

Steam has steam money card things at large retail stores. You can always go that route. You can even get credit cards at grocery stores that you one time load 10-20$ into aswell.

You have cash? Well if you do then buy a steam wallet card from eb games or your nearest game retailer

I'll be sure to keep that in mind. In the meantime, I have to wait til tomorrow for more drops to come in for me to scrap and trade. Hopefully I'll find a taker for them

You do not need to go on that site to get premium, all you need to do is buy something on the Mann .Co store, i bought the huntsman (a sniper bow) for only 18c and now i have premium.

yeah, but we f2pers don't get anythnig like that. all we get is weps, no trading cards. we can't even trade anything without it.

I highly put trust into scrap.tf...it is a very safe and easy to use site. I too was skeptical about putting my Steam ID in at first but then again I've had my account hacked before...but don't worry this site is very trustworthy and it makes getting scrap or getting the specific weapon you want very easy!
Half of the metal in my BP comes from spare weapons I've scrapped through scrap.tf...the other half comes from trading on TF2 Outpost. Most importantly they are fair to you about prices...some people in trade servers will charge you a scrap or more for a single weapon! They only charge you 1 scrap for two weapons. Way bettter.
Trust me when I say scrap.tf can be your best friend when it comes to gaining metal or goods!
