Why does everyone think the RED team is better than the BLU team?

I think RED looks nicer on most of the characters. Also, I prefer RED because I like defending last. Its always fun and close, but I only play on one map, so that may be a factor in me liking RED over BLU.

I personally like to play Blu more then Red. There's also something I don't get why is it that Blu is the attacking team? I think it would make more sense if it was Red attacking because since Red stands for Reliable Excavation Demolition and the attacking team's goal like in payload is to destroy the other teams base. So, wouldn't it make more sense if it was Red attacking and Blu defending.

I could question the fact that the Soldier can shoot rockets at himself and not die, and that the Heavy has a magic plate for his Sandvich, and a bunch of other stuff that's questionable, but I don't. Just go with the flow.

I like RED, because I dunno. I just like 'em. BLU never has an advantage, as the attacking team and with the Setup time as "Boring time".
RED has all the advantages, Sentry building time, the whole Setup fase, just to defend, more to lose.

Late Post In Team Fortress Classic they use Blu Team while Team Fortress 2 use Red Team
