Team Color Paint Red for Blu and Blue for Red
So I'm just curious, but has anyone ever thought about making a team-colored paint where it gives you Red paint if your on Blu and Blue paint if you're on Red? I think it'd be pretty neat.

Suppose, though you could call it Team Treachery or something, I mean you already can wear red hats on Blu and blue hats on Red, so what would the difference be?

It'd be neat until you realized that it breaks game balance when I can take my RED pyro, cover it in BLU cosmetics, then walk right through a huge enemy force without being noticed. I already have a hard enough time when there's scouts running around with half of their team color obscured by LIME GREEN. :P

The ultimate spy disguise: Paint all your stuff with the opposite color

There will be no such thing added to the game. All of the TF2 uniforms and items are ment for easy recognition of team that the person wearing it is on.

thats absolutely one of the worst ideas ive heard

you know this game is based around quick recognition right?

thats why each team wears such distinct colors, thats why each class has a different silhouette

But once again you can wear Red on Blu and Blue on Red as it already is, not to mention plenty of other weird colors and even unusual hats that can make it a little difficult to say, oh that guy's Red or that guy's Blu. But like I said it was just a thought.

Assuming, of course, no-one puts their cursor over you and sees nothing, or decides to do some spychecking on their "teammate".

no you absolutely cant, there is no BLU item that can be painted RED and theres no RED item that can be painted BLU, as i said, the game was DESIGNED around quick recognition, this goes completely agaisnt that

is the difference between TF2 and Battlefield, in which you can barely tell in which team a player is let alone what class he is, absolutely terrible, one of the many things wrong with the design in many BF games

What I meant was that you can pick up colors like Similar to Slate which is a bluish color and a color like Dark Salmon injustice which is pinkish red kind of color. And then you can wear that item on either team.

Fair enough, in the end it was just an idea so I really don't care. Though you can't tell me that if you saw a Red soldier wearing Slate or even the uncolored blue or a Blu soldier wearing Salmon or the uncolored red that you'd confuse them for the wrong team, not to mention looking at their bodies or the color of some weapons tend to show you what team they're on anyways.
