Use these combinations with a hit-and-run tactic - cause as much damage as possible until they hit you, run away from the battle. If someone gets close to you switch to the sword or caber and either slay them / suicide bomb them. You can rack up a lot of kills this way.
Last point - Loch'N'Load is amazing for taking out groups of players capturing points, and surrounding payload carts. You can often get double and triple kills from attacking these.
Sure, 1 hit killing Scouts sometimes might be something nice but I don't think the epic amount of 12 extra damage is worth giving up rollers and half of my clip.
It's actually more accurate as well. You don't need to lead your enemies as much, and if you're indoors you have the ability to hit enemies further away instead of being required to either use rollers or shoot at the ceiling.
I'm just saying that in my personal opinion stock is the weapon with more versatile modes of application and preferable most of the time.
And I just have a certain aversion against weapons with a clip downside.
THIS! It happens a lot if you aim carefully. It's really fun. Yesterday i took three people at the same time, but i was able to get four once, while they were capping a point.
If you look for videos in youtube, you'll see people basically destroying entire teams in a matter of seconds with.
Anyway, it's a lot fun.
-Pyros have a very slim chance of a successful reflect because the nades will shatter on surfaces. This plays out in your favor.
-Crit nades slaughter grouped players and engi nests will fall apart with only two hits, regardless of building level. Even if the buildings do survive, there's a pretty high chance the engi won't and your teammates can run cleanup on severely damged buildings.
-Referring to the previous statement, people crowding around dispensers are dead against this launcher. No exceptions. This lets you save your stickies for denial and spam.
-Meatshielding is strongly discouraged by this weapon. Even if an overhealed heavy tanks the hits, his teammates (and especially his medic) won't be so lucky.
To sum it up, what I love about this gun is the playstyle it encourages: no mindless spamming of four nades in a general vicinity, reload, then rinse/repeat the cycle. You have to be dead center with your aim and the high rewards justify the learning curve, along with (for me personally) promoting a more independent playstyle compared to being another damn pocket. But then again, everyone has their own cup of tea and this just so happens to be mine.
Sincerely, a demo player with 4,637 kills (as of this post) with the LnL
