Engine Error: Could not load Library Client

Every time I try to play TF2 the game crashes and I get the above message in a small window. Only happens with TF2.

I've gone through all the support docs I can find and tried different solutions - but I'm still getting the same error. I even submitted a ticket to Valve's tech support and have yet to get a reply on this, even after a week of waiting.

Can anyone help out?

I did same things myself too, but still not working. Game used run just fine on my PC even tho it doesn't support SSE2. Before this error i kept getting: Unable load the launcher DLL (null) but it chanced into this error message back at November due update:

- Removed the requirement for SSE2 that was introduced during a previous update

I wish this gets fixed before end of the year.

try deleting local game content then reinstall.
dont worry, your items and everything
will be fine. but just incase, use cloud.
