News is stuck in the past.

You know that section for news related to a game that's under the Acheivements?

Well, mine is now suddenly stuck on everything from a month ago. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Yeah, pretty much ALL of my game'snews is stuck about a month in the past.

Maybe it's related to Steampipe...?

Nah it's just Valve wrote some ultra crappy cache software.

If you go into your steam folder your going to find the appcache folder, and inside that the httpcache folder. Now inside that 200+ crappy little folders of every little http page steam has ever downloaded or that any you've ever hit from a server "message of the day" page.

Delete them all.

Suddenly the news feeds will work right again for a couple of weeks / months.
