What playtime you are more likely to get a hat drop?

There's no specific playtimes. Simply playing the game for up to 12 hours a week maximises your chance of getting items. When an item drop is activated, it has a small chance of being a hat.

I have 13 idling accounts, and ill talk about what I get in one week counting all of them.
I always find something special like objector or name tag.

More likely I find 1 or 2 hats per week, some of my last drops were Fast learner and Bootie time.

My most lucky week was 4 hats + mann co. orange. Sometimes I find 2 hats in same week same account

Theres a small chance you get it. 1 in the I-Don't-Knwo-how-Much-Items you'll get one.

Premium TF2 user find Hats and miscs. Non premium can only find tools, but not hats/miscs

It's completely random. It took me well over 200 hours before I found my first hat, but my friend found his first hat after less than 50 hours.

I finally got something that isn't a crate or weapon after 4 months being premium and that was a Sight For Sore Eyes... had a good laugh with it until sold.

Some people say Thursday is the best day for drops cuz on Thursday the drop rate resets so if u havnt played tf2 the whole week and u play on thursday u possible get more than normal drops and hopefully a hat or misc... Good luck!

Its true it resets on thursday but you get the drops you didnt have in the last week and the current week
