TF2 isn't ruined.
Solution: Don't play in pubs, or if you insist on playing in pubs then play in community servers.
i've been playing for 4 years and i don't wear hats.
It's been dead for 4 months.

I only discovered the computer version of this game about a year ago I think (I have horrid memory, I sometimes forget my own age, literally).
But anyway, before I discovered there was a computer version, I always played the console version on PS3.
And I still loved it.
TF2 is definately my childhood game, so I will always play it no matter how many wacky hats they add.
And besides, if I ever feel like time traveling to before hats and/or updates such as Pyro gaining the airblast ability or new weapons, then I can just play it on console.
Some paints go. For example, Balaclavas Are Forever goes great with quite a few Spy miscs, as they're similar colours, yet not the same.
I have a hatred for MOBA players, so i'm leaving now.
