The Gaurd Dog
Level X Mobile Sentry Turret Tracking Device
Builds a special sentry that lets you place 2 waypoints by right clicking with the PDA out. The "Sentry" follows each point ending in the final point of where it was first built.
+ "Turret" patrols a select area of your choice
+ Build time is halfway between a traditional level 1 sentry and a mini
+ Can be upgraded to get more health on it's waypoints and increased patrol speed.
+ Just the most gosh darn adorable thing!
- stops to attack passersby
- Less power in exchange for more coverage
- May not be in the right place at the right time.
- Can be sapped at the turret or the first waypoint.
- Less health then a traditional sentry.
^ Note that this isin't the original but my rendition of how it could work.
Though I do think that a Mini Health only Dispenser would be cool.
this "idea" has been suggested around every 2 seconds the day after launch
Pros
Attacks multiple enemies at once
Can attack spies
Constantly protects
Can be used around corners
More health
Cons
Small radius
Constantly firing (refill it a lot)
Not as strong as a regular sentry
Wrangler would basically allow you to contro when it fires, so if you want to put it around corners without enemies seeing fire
Although an immobile flame turret would be kind of cool.
I really like the idea of an "artillery" sentry. You'd have to set it up away from the battle, then get up close to spot targets with your wrangler. The engy is away from the gun, so if a spy gets it, you're done.
