here is an example where its the 'p' button:
bind 'p' '+voicerecord'
Type that on the console and then its good to go.
In game you do not hear yourself, so that avoids the echo when using mic and speakers. And you do not see your own name, just an exclaimation point (!) on the right. Whatever key you set is "push (and hold) to talk" like a walkie talkie. Just ask on a server if anyone can hear you. It took me awhile to figure that all out.
I know what my button is (V) but remember, I can't hear anyone else.
I can't hear anyone else, I was trying to say I can't hear onyone in TF2.
I said the game wont let me test my mic, I can test it on any other game and on steam options.
I have been looking around in commands and found command "voice_enable" if it is set to 0, set it to 1, and you can hear people again.
Thank you!
Thanks Dude this worked for me! I can now hear and speak again! XD
