Does uninstalling Tf2 delete your items and such?

I am going to try and uninstall Tf2 (i have validating issues) and i need to know everything that will happen when i do.

No, the items are saved to a separate server, while your stats are saved in the cloud, so you won't lose anything.

As far as I know, no. From my understanding, your items are on an "item server" (hence the "item server inaccessible" crap), rather than stored in your computer. So no, it shouldn't delete your items, from what I've gathered.

Something happened when there was an update but then it didn't work. I have to uninstall TF2 then install it back. But same thing, I'm super scared I'm gonna lose all my items ;__;

As sniper would say, no worries. I originally installed Steam in Linux (Jan 2013), and when the Linux part of my drive started failing, I installed Steam and TF2 from scratch in Win7 without copying any files over and my achievements and inventory were all there. I now have a new drive and am back playing in Linux.

To answer your question, yes. So if you have mods, make a backup first then uninstall it.

Your items will never be cleared unless you cleared it manually or get VAC banned
