Online gaming attracts a number of people who are oblivious, don't communicate and don't listen.
I occassionally build on the third point when I know my team is going to get rolled and I need time to build in a strange spot.
Situationally, though not often, there are places where 3 are not bad to have particularly on defense.
Which is more efficient, building a sentry at the place it's needed and spending mroe time getting pieces of material to get it up to level 3, or building it up to level 3 right outside spawn, where you can go back to 200 metal in a second or two, and then bring it to where it is needed?
That said there are a few points I do find as annoying as you do.
1. Make friends
2. Play with said friends
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until content
Maybe try to find better server?
What seems like basic knowledge to veteran players is a brand new concept to many players. Such as the common mistake that you can shoot through glass or the mistake that when invisible you can neither be found or hurt.
This game has a easy but long sloped learning curve and many people do not get to the top of it. Why? Because they are in fact there just to have a bit of fun for a couple hours. They do not want to be the best of the best or even the middle ground. They just want to experiment and try different things.
Just to remember that this game is based on teamwork in more ways than one. Meaning that if someone is doing something wrong do not berate them or insult them. Be helpful and offer some advice. If they listen then great! You have taught someone something! If they do not then it is a temporary setback for your team and more of a loss for them.
Be patient and understanding.
Personally, I can't stand playing due the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ teenagers who spew their ironic internet culture jokes 24/7.
I love you.
Misses the point more than hatless scouts
[On-Topic] Like people told me about TFC, it'll get better. Just play on servers that only allow Premium and P2Ps, or just play with your friends.
