it's possible, as they did a twentieth anniversary with hl2 and a twenty-fifth anniversary with hl, but it might not due to other valve games (such as cs) not getting attention for being just as old.

Except in my experience i didn't even SEE msaa, it was only FXAA, are you talking about CS2?

Deadlock seems to use FSR 2, and then if you disable that it uses FXAA. Deadlock also isn't even released yet, so you can't really say "Source 2 doesn't have MSAA".

I checked CS2 and that game has MSAA, so unless Valve plans on removing it from the game, Source 2 has it.

i don't think a major tf2 update is totally off the table in the long run, but it doesn't seem like valve is working on anything right now, so i would put a low probability on it happening in the next two years

I'm talking about Source2. Every Source2 game that's fully released (Alyx, CS2, Dota 2) has great AA options. Deadlock barely has anything anywhere because it's an alpha. To judge Source 2 based on Deadlock right now is like judging Source 1 based on HL2 in 2002. Deadlock is still years from releasing.

Fair enough, i haven't played CS2 because of all the cheaters people say it has.

For every cheater in CS2 there's without exaggeration over 100 in TF2.
